B R E A T H T A K I N G

One of the neatest things about Astrophotography is arriving at your shooting location, in the middle of nowhere, and stepping out of the car to have your breath taken away by the number of stars visible.

This image was shot at Castle Hill in West Canterbury, NZ. The skies here are very dark and the rock formations add interesting features to images taken here. This was following a recent snowfall as seen in the photo, which was tricky to navigate and climb in, especially in the pitch black!

Hope you all like this image, please don't forget to like and share - it helps me out a lot!

(20s f/4 ISO6400, Nikon D610, Samyang 14/2.8, 2x5 stitch)
