Colony Glacier in the Chugach Mountains taken from Lake George in the Knik River Valley east of Anchorage Alaska. I visited this remote location by a flight in a fat tired Alaska Super Cub bush plane. We landed on the ice of the amazing frozen Lake George. This is the kind of stuff that I dreamed about doing when I was a child reading Jack London novels. grin emoticon
