The Craters of Laki belong to the most impressive areas in Iceland. The latest eruption in 1783 is one of the biggest in human history. It caused death, starvation, sickness for 25% of the icelandic population. The climatic change brought suffer and death to North - and Central Europe too. People say, Laki introduced the French Revolution. wink emoticon

PS: Laki is still active. He just fell asleep.
